Great venue. Probably my favorite in Portland. They bring in really good shows, the staff are nice and attentive, and the bar's cocktails are fantastic (Try The Green Room)!

Went to see a show at the Aladdin on a Friday night. We were getting there just as the act was starting. GA seating so we were in the back of the balcony. There isnt a ton of parking so we had to park a few blocks down in the neighborhood behind the theater. Even so it wasn't that long of a walk. The bar downstairs has decent pizza and they have bottomless soda in the main bar. All in all I have no complaints but I do recommend getting their plenty early so you get good seats and closer parking.

If I am not mistaken, Jefferson Airplane, used to play gigs here in the 60's, even before Grace Slick joined the band. Back when the original Jefferson Airplane vocalist Signe Toly Anderson was on board. Of course; Jefferson Airplane lauded not one, but two vocalists in their band, other than those two; along with Marty Balin. Can you imagine seeing Pre-Grace Slick, Jefferson Airplane here, at this very location, in the early to mid 60's? What a great time that must have been...
